An online workshop is a guided service: it automatically includes messaging access with you and personalized feedback for each student. To sell a paid offer, your Stripe Connect account must be completed and approved (a free offer can be published without it).

How do I create an in-person workshop?

In the Studio, create a workshop and choose the “In-person” format: you set the address, date, duration and number of seats. Students buy their seat on the web or in the iOS app. Guidance happens on site during the class — online feedback isn't included automatically unless your offer states otherwise.

How do I create a workshop pack?

A pack bundles several of your guided workshops into a single offer. Create it from the Studio by selecting the workshops to include and setting the pack price. Each workshop in the pack keeps its own guidance, messaging and feedback terms.

How do I create a subscription?

Accepted Answer

From the Studio, create a subscription offer: you set your price and what it includes (linked workshops, exclusive content, messaging, personalized feedback…). A subscription creates an ongoing coaching relationship between you and your subscribers — it's not just an on-demand video library.

How does feedback work?

Under the workshop video, the student submits a clip (a video of themselves practicing) and the teacher replies with personalized feedback. The student has a standard 30-day window from the purchase to request this feedback, unless a different duration is stated on the offer.

The teacher isn't responding to my feedback request — what can I do?

The response time and terms are stated by the teacher on their offer where relevant. If they don't respond within the announced terms, contact support: Lessuns can send reminders to the teacher and review your situation on a case-by-case basis, with no automatic refund.

Am I required to respond to feedback?

Accepted Answer

Yes — personalized feedback is part of the service sold with every guided online workshop. Respond within the terms announced on your offer: message, video, comment, live or group session. If no guidance is provided after reminders, a student's refund request may be reviewed.

How do I pay for a workshop on the web?

On lessuns.app, payment is made securely by card via Stripe — Lessuns never stores your card number. You receive a receipt by email and the workshop is unlocked immediately in your library.

How do I pay in the iOS app?

Accepted Answer

In the iPhone app, purchases go through Apple's in-app purchase system (App Store). Apple collects the payment and applies its own rules, notably for refunds. Your access to the content is the same whatever the purchase channel.

Can I withdraw after a purchase?

For an online workshop, at checkout you tick a box expressly requesting immediate access to the videos: once access has started, you waive your 14-day right of withdrawal, where the law allows. For an in-person workshop (a leisure service on a set date), the right of withdrawal may be excluded, but you can cancel your booking and be refunded up to 14 calendar days before the workshop date.

How do I request a refund?

Requests are reviewed case by case: a technical issue genuinely preventing access, a lack of promised guidance after reminders, a double payment, an obvious error… Simply changing your mind after accessing the videos does not entitle you to a refund. Email eric@lessuns.app specifying the content concerned and the purchase date. For iOS purchases, the request may be handled directly by Apple under its own rules.

How long do I have access to a purchased workshop?

The access duration is shown on the offer page at the time of purchase. If none is specified, access stays open as long as the workshop is available on the platform. Your access is kept even if the teacher ends their Lessuns Pro subscription, except for legitimate removal of the content.

How do I cancel my subscription to a teacher?

Accepted Answer

You can cancel at any time: from “My subscriptions” in your account for a subscription taken out on the web, or from your Apple account settings for one taken out in the iOS app. Access stays open until the end of the period already paid; cancelling doesn't trigger a prorated refund. If a payment fails, a grace period may apply before access is suspended.

Why do I need to connect a Stripe account?

Stripe Connect is Lessuns's payout system: it pays out your sales securely. Your Stripe Connect account must be completed and approved to publish and sell paid offers — connect it from “My payouts”. Stripe may ask you for identity documents (KYC), and Lessuns stores no banking data.

What commission does Lessuns take?

On the web: 10% of the sale price, inclusive of tax (VAT included where French VAT applies) — you keep 90% of the amount collected, with Stripe fees covered by Lessuns out of its commission. In the iOS app: Apple first takes its own commission, then Lessuns takes 10% of the net amount received from Apple — you keep 90% of that net, which may be less than 90% of the price shown to the student.

When are my sales paid out to me?

Web sales are paid out automatically to your Stripe account after the 10% commission, inclusive of tax, is deducted. iOS sales are paid out monthly, with no minimum threshold, via Stripe Connect, once the net amount is received from Apple. You track everything in “My payouts”. In the event of a refund, chargeback or adjustment, the corresponding amount is deducted.

Where can I find my commission invoices?

Lessuns invoices its 10% commission, inclusive of tax, in a summary form. Your commission invoices are available in your dashboard, under “Invoices” — keep them for your accounting and tax filings.

Can I sell without being a registered business?

Accepted Answer

Yes, an individual can subscribe to Lessuns Pro and sell, provided they comply with the laws applicable to their activity. You remain solely responsible for your tax, social and reporting obligations: if your activity becomes regular or generates significant income, consult a qualified advisor to make the necessary filings or registrations.

How much does Lessuns Pro cost?

Lessuns Pro costs €29 excl. VAT per month, i.e. €34.80 incl. VAT for teachers based in France — taxes are calculated based on your country, billing address and status. The subscription starts with a 7-day free trial, unless a different offer is stated at sign-up: at the end of the trial it becomes paid unless cancelled beforehand.

How do I cancel Lessuns Pro? Do my students keep access?

Cancel at any time: from “Subscription” → “Invoices & cancellation” (Stripe portal) if you subscribed on the web, or from your Apple account settings if you subscribed in the iOS app. After cancellation, your account is kept but publishing and selling are suspended. Your students keep access to workshops already purchased, under the terms applicable to their purchase.

What's the minimum age to use Lessuns?

Signing up as a student is open from age 12. Minors must have their legal guardian's permission: a parent email may be requested and parental approval required to activate the account. The teacher role is reserved for adults.
