Lessuns

Teacher content charter

In force - 7 July 2026

This is a courtesy translation. Only the French version is legally binding.

1. Purpose

This charter sets out the rules applicable to the content and offers published by Teachers on LESSUNS: videos, titles, descriptions, materials, profiles, excerpts, in-person workshops, messages, responses to reviews and interactions.

2. General principles

Services, materials and interactions must be lawful, fair, respectful and compliant with the rights of third parties.

The Teacher is responsible for the services they offer, the materials they publish, the feedback they provide and the necessary authorisations.

LESSUNS may refuse, unpublish or restrict a material, a service or an offer in the event of legal, technical, quality, safety or moderation risk.

3. Copyright, music and image rights

The Teacher warrants that they hold the rights and authorisations necessary for all components of the content: video, sound, music, choreography, voice, image, participants, any minors represented, location, trademarks, materials and third-party works.

The use of commercial music or protected works is authorised only if the Teacher holds the necessary licences or authorisations. LESSUNS does not systematically verify these rights and may remove content in the event of a claim or serious doubt.

4. Prohibited content

unlawful, infringing content or content infringing the rights of third parties;

hateful, discriminatory, harassing, violent, humiliating or threatening content;

sexual content or content unsuitable for the platform's audience;

false, misleading promises or guarantees of result;

medical advice, diagnoses, treatments or dangerous exercises without precaution;

content involving minors without the necessary authorisation;

content containing excessive or unauthorised personal data;

incitement to circumvent payments, illegal sharing or unauthorised downloading.

5. Physical safety

Dance and physical activity classes must include prudent instructions where necessary: warm-up, safe space, adaptation to the level, stopping in the event of pain, absence of medical diagnosis. Risky movements must be presented with caution.

For in-person workshops, the Teacher must communicate the essential information: location, schedule, capacity, level, equipment, safety instructions and access conditions. They must have the necessary authorisations to host the participants.

6. Quality, support and presentation

a clear and non-misleading title;

a faithful description of the service, the educational video material and the included support;

level, prerequisites, date, location, duration and equipment indicated where relevant;

usable video material, sufficient sound and image where the service includes a video;

no abusive advertising or off-platform redirection intended to circumvent LESSUNS.

For guided online workshops, the Teacher must provide access to messaging and individualised feedback, except in a particular case clearly distinguished and accepted by LESSUNS. The Student has, in principle, a standard period of 30 days from purchase to request the feedback, unless a different period is indicated in the offer.

The Teacher must fairly indicate the feedback terms where relevant: response time, feedback format, any live session, group session, reasonable limits and availability. LESSUNS may send notifications or reminders if announced feedback is not provided.

For in-person workshops, support is provided directly during the class, course or workshop. Individualised online feedback is not automatically included, unless otherwise stated on the offer.

7. Marketing by LESSUNS

The Teacher authorises VAO Agency to use short excerpts, thumbnails, titles, name, photo, bio and profile elements to promote the Teacher, their guided offers, LESSUNS, the site, the application and the associated social networks. This use does not transfer ownership of the content or materials.

This marketing licence is limited to the promotion of LESSUNS and the Teacher's offers. It does not authorise the separate resale of the excerpts or any distorting modification of the content. The Teacher may request the cessation of certain future uses, subject to campaigns already published and reasonable archives.

Where minors appear in content used for promotional purposes, the Teacher warrants that they hold the necessary authorisations and VAO Agency may refuse or limit the promotional use.

8. Reporting and removal

Content may be reported by a user or a third party. VAO Agency may request supporting documents, restrict access, remove the content, suspend sales or retain the elements necessary to process the report.
